AV12-08-15
Description : In 1987 "Nine-O-Nine" suffered a devastating accident in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, when it was caught in a severe crosswind while landing. Rolling off the runway and into a 100 foot ravine the engines were torn from their mounts, landing gear sheared off, chin turret smashed, plexiglas nose was shattered, and the rest of the plane took a tremendous beating. Fortunately there were no fatalities to the crew or riders aboard the aircraft.
