Description : Built in 1982 at the Celaya Shipyards in Bilboa, Spain the Cuauhtémoc has a spar length of 270 feet, draft of 17 feet 1 inch, beam of 39 feet 4 inches, and a weight of 1800 tons. It is the sister ship of the Gloria, the Guyas, and the Simon Bolivar. The Gloria, of Columbia, was built in 1968. The Guyas, of Ecuador, and the Simon Bolivar, of Venezuela, were both constructed in 1979.
