An armed U.S. Navy Rigid-hull Inflatable Boat (RIB) is docked alongside the armed Coast Guard SAFE boats at the Yerba Buena Coast Guard Station prior to the days deployment. These boats would provide the inner ring of security should a hostile vessel attempt to get close to one of the larger Navy ships. |
