Located in the Cascade Range northeast of Redding, California, the 129 foot tall Burney Falls flows over its basalt ledge as Burney Creek makes its way to Lake Britton. Supplied by a large underground reservoir the water emerges as springs at and above Burney Falls, where it flows at 100 million gallons every day.
